What is OSDD-1b, and how does it occur?
OSDD-1b (Otherwise Specified Dissociatve Disorder), is a dissociative trauma disorder where when a young child (commonly around from being 1-6), recieves excessive or severe trauma. When this happens, the child cannot take it, and as a result, the brain splits into multiple parts as a coping mechanism for that trauma. For people with OSDD-1b, switching between these parts may not have amnesia, or very little amnesia.
(!!DISCLAMER!! - Please do not ever ask what someones trauma was, as it can severely damage the individual/s. Trauma is a very, very, very, sensitive topic for most, if not all systems. Please, if the individual/s do wish to share their trauma with you, be respectful, mature, and patient, as it's a very stressful thing for them to share.)
